What is the "Together for Sustainability (TFS)" initiative?

This initiative was jointly developed in 2011 by the chief procurement officers of six multinational companies: BASF, Bayer, Evonik Industries, Henkel, Lanxess, and Solvay. All member companies strive to achieve sustainable development goals and support the principles of the UN Global Compact and Responsible Care. This means that companies care not only about themselves but also about their suppliers' environmental, social, and good governance practices during operations. The initiative aims to increase the transparency of sustainability standards in the chemical industry's supply chain and coordinate the consistency of these standards.

In recent years, with the continuous improvement of its core competitiveness, Forward has become a supplier to many well-known global chemical companies, accelerating its strategic steps towards integrating into the global sustainable development supplier (TFS) development, laying a solid foundation for the Forward brand to go global.

In May of this year, in accordance with the requirements of relevant customers, SGS certification company conducted an on-site audit and certification of Forward Company from five aspects: overall organizational situation, environmental safety, labor rights, business integrity and anti-corruption, and sustainable supply procurement. After the on-site audit, evidence collection, and inspection of the company's TFS sustainable development supplier system-related production records, account books, safety facilities configuration, safety system establishment, employee occupational health protection, corporate protection of employee rights, business integrity and anti-corruption construction, etc., Yuan Jiang, the head of the expert group, announced at the final meeting of the audit that Forward successfully passed the TFS sustainable development supplier on-site audit. After rectifying the identified problems, a TFS certification audit report will be issued to the Sustainable Development Alliance headquarters to ensure that the company obtains the TFS sustainable development supplier certification certificate.

Passing this on-site audit and certification is of great significance to Forward's strategy of joining the global sustainable supplier (TFS) development.
